It's Electric!

Today we talked about the differences between current and static electricity.  It truly was a hair-raising event!  We still have some exciting experiments coming up in this unit, so stay tuned!

While they don't always feel very comfortable, there are two major advantages to these.  1)  It lets you know baby is doing alright in there.  2)  It's kinda funny to see your belly move :)  AWESOME!

Tuesday's awesome

The Humane Society

An organization committed to helping animals who are neglected, abused, exploited stray or homeless. They help raise awareness of humane treatment of all animals and find homes for animals in need.  Even more awesome than the organization?  The grade 6 girls who fund-raised for them and made $440 to go to a great cause!  AWESOME!

Static electricity

OK, so I know it doesn't actually have a real purpose like current electricity.  But the way it can make your hair stick out?  AWESOME!
