Today we learned about making meaningful connections by using four different types of connections: text-to-self, text-to-text, text-to-world and text-to-faith. To see what meaningful connections looked like, we read a traditional Abenaki legend today entitled, Raccoon's Last Race. It was a great story with a great lesson and it allowed for lots of connections! PS Doesn't raccoon look sad in this picture? I think he is sorry for his trickster ways!
